Birthday Blog!!

Hey you guys! So my birthday was today and I turned 17!!! I'm soo excited...I mean who wouldn't be-I can finally watch rated R movies, haha.  Well I'm just gonna tell you what I did today and how I celebrated my birthday.

So I'm a morning person and I got up around seven in the morning and just lounged around in bed and checked my email and Twitter and this blog. Then my parents came into my room when the woke up with balloons and a gift bag. In the bag was a little jewelry box with some $$$ in it. Can anyone say SHOPPING?!? Then my dad told me to go down and bring something out of his car and when I opened the garage door.......MY CAR HAD TINTED WINDOWS!! As crazy as this may sound that was pretty much the only thing I wanted for my birthday! So after breakfast I went tanning and shopping with my mom. However I didn't want to spend any of the money I got so I only browsed. (My mom did get me a bra through but party because I needed one and we had a coupon for VS).

When we got home from the mall my grandparents came over. Since I didn't tell them what I wanted for my birthday they too got me money. Soon after that we headed over to Sullivan's Steakhouse for dinner. I don't eat steak often because it isn't too healthy for you but it's one of my favorite types of food. At Sullivan's I got a Filet Mignon with a baked potato on the side and since it was my birthday they brought me cheesecake. Oh I forgot to tell you that I can LIVE OFF of baked potatoes, I seriously LOVEEEEE them!
After dinner we went back to my house and played Just Dance 2 on the Wii, yes my grandma played with us!! Then we had my birthday cake (Black Forest) with some tea/coffee and I went to bed cause I had school in the morning.

But with all this extra money I don't really know what to get. There's soooooo much stuff I want but we might be going to Paris this summer and I would absolutely love to go shopping there, so I don't really know what to do!!

Delayed Valentine's Day Tag

1. Candy Sweethearts or Chocolate Covered Strawberries?
I don't really like sweethearts I think they're sorta nasty but I love chocolate covered strawberries! Yummmmm

2. What was your favorite Valentine's Day memory?
Well I've never had a Valentine so I don't really have a memorable Valentine's Day memory but every year my parents get me a stuffed animal and a box of chocolates so it's tradition.

3. Twilight or Harry Potter Valentine?
Harry Potter! Hands down. However I enjoyed Twilight before it became the "hot" new thing but now I can't even hear the word vampire without wanting to vomit. But Harry Potter has and always will be one of my favorite books and Twilight is nothing compared to HP!

4. What celebrity would you not mind having for a Valentine?
Well this one has about a billion answers but I gotta say Ryan Reynolds is a HOTTIE! I could stare at him all day and never get bored.

5. Do you have someone special to share Valentine's Day with?
Not I don't but that's okay!

6. Cheesecake Factory of Ruby's?
Cheesecake Factory! DUH! How can you not love Cheesecake??!?!?!?! There was one month when I went there every week (I had a logical explanation why). But just sitting here makes me wanna go get some. The chocolate rasberry ones are DE-Li-Cious!

7. Red or Pink lips on Valentine's Day?
I think it really depends on the person but because I like having dramatic eyes having red lips would just be too much going on so I'm gonna have to say pink. But I do enjoy red lips!

8. Cute dress or a cute top?
While I don't wear dresses too often I would take the opportunity to wear a cute dress with tights (its been cold) and a pair of sexy heels. Tops are just too everyday-ish for me.

9. Prefect Date: dinner and a movie or dinner and a walk on the beach?
Walk on the beach=romantic but I don't live too close to a beach so I would have to say dinner and a movie.

10. Hair up or down?
I don't wear my hair up that often so I would go with down. I like my hair being down, and whenever I put it up it leaves dents in my hair.

New Format? HTML Help?

I've been thinking about the way I have been writing on here and I don't like it. This isn't going how I wanted and I'm going to change it. So if you see some random changes don't freak out! I'm still going post posts (haha) similar to what I've been doing but I'm mostly going to write in a storyline format.

Waxing, Twitter, Celebrities

Hey you guys!

Do you like the different font? I personally like Arial more but if not just comment or email me or tweet me about it and I can either change it or always use this font.

So today...or yesterday if you're reading this on Monday when I post it...well on Sunday I went to get my eyebrows waxed and OMGHHFWJF it killed! I was soo shocked because I try to get them done once every month or every two months and it usually doesn't hurt but this time I was almost crying.  I think the roots of my eyebrow hairs started bleeding cause the lady kept spraying water and patting my eyebrows. I don't think thats normal! I always like the feeling of getting my eyebrows waxed and for some reason I feel like I've posted this before...let me check...guess not but I swear I did. Do you guys get anything waxed? I would wanna try to get my bikini line waxed but I'm too scared. Can you be any age to get it done or do you have to be 18 or with a parent? Hmm...maybe I should call and ask, yeah I think I'll do that.

Now to Twitter, right now I only have 5 followers...it's kinda sad. I wanna do something to get more but I have no idea what! Any suggestions? If you're reading my blogs and you have a Twitter-GO FOLLOW ME @AliParker16 and if you don't have a Twitter....MAKE one! They're soo addicting.

How do you feel about celebrities? I think that I have no idea what to think! Sometimes I adore them and other times I'm just like "what were you thinking." I think its great for people to have a role model but if you look at what they do and try to be like them then you forget who you really are. Especially if you're following clothing trends. When you see what you're favorite celebrity is wearing and you want the same exact jacket or shirt or shoes or whatever and when you find it and look at the price its like WHAT!!! $100 for a plain white shirt??!?!?!?! CRAZYYYY! But I don't know, I follow some celebrities on Twitter and the things they say can be soo random.

Do you guys like these kind of posts where it's very random or do you like more structured ones where I talk about one topic? Tweet me some ideas for my blog and I can write about it. You can even e-mail me some personal stories that I could publish on here but I would change the names to make it private or something like that! Maybe I could do a what did I do today blog?

Fairly Legal-Review

Hey you guys!
So who here watches USA? I personally love Burn Notice, Royal Pains, and Covert Affairs. Well then again I like spy movies and FBI stuff...is that normal for a girl to like that? Hmm..oh well I like it. Anyway a new show premiered on Thursday of last week called Fairly Legal and it's about this lady, Kate Reed, who used to be a lawyer at her father's firm but after he passed away she quit being a lawyer and became a mediator. Well in the pilot she has an ex-husband who she isn't seeing but sometimes has to because of both his connections and I think that they still like each other, but in the pilot they woke up in the same bed so who knows where that'll take us. And then there's her step-mom who Kate doesn't like because she married Kate's father. But the thing I like most about this show (no it isn't the fact that Kate goes running around the city in Christian Louboutins) but on her cell phone she named her family as characters from the Wizard of Oz and matched them up with music from the movie. So her step-mom was the Wicked Witch and her dad was Oz, and her brother was the Scarecrow, I think....and so on...

Well now to the part where I tell you what I thought of it. I'm not really sure if I like it or not, pilots are never really that great anyway but I think I'm going to watch the next few episodes and then decide if I'm into it or not. But maybe I do like it? Ehhh I'm not sure!
