Bruno Mars Review
So here's another review over an album. Tell me if you like it when I do reviews! So Bruno Mars has such a real voice its incredible. Its very natural and acoustic and oodisjfsoaijfodasjo ijOIJ!!!!!!!!!!! Hehe so his album Doo - Wosp & Hooligans is nice. It may be a little slow for some people but I enjoy it. The songs are super relatable and have a meaning behind them. If you like dancing and party songs then you won't like this but if you like everything or don't have a preference then you'll like this too.
Favorite Song? GRENADE!! Totally cute!

Dear Pre-Calc
Let's just say I hate strongly dislike pre-calculus. I don't even understand what we're doing in class. Oh wait! I'm not even sure what chapter we're on.....Its chapter 4 (TRIGONOMETRY???!?!?) GAH!
I really doubt that I'm going to need to know what the sin of pi is two coterminal angles of -5pi/6. How about which quadrant 11pi/8. And that's just the "easy" stuff! Try graphing y=2sin(.5x-pi/4) HAH I don't think so!
Who else is taking pre-calc and is having trouble? Because i'm pretty sure I'm not the only one on the borderline of FAILINGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG that class! And the sad thing is I got an A in Algebra 2 last year and now I have a.....61%

Yes I have been in a friends with benefits relationship and yes it ended with me being heartbroken but that's only because I was attached from the beginning. So if you know that you won't get emotionally attached then go ahead and have fun BUT if you're a hopless romantic like me....DON'T RISK IT. It really isn't worth it...okay maybe sometimes it is. All we girls want is some honest and love not hearbreak and lies!

Bieber Fever Anyone?
ATTENTION: JUSTIN BIEBER FANS ONLY!
**I am in no way affiliated with Justin Bieber or anyone who knows him. I'm just a fan reviewing his products! And if you don't like him then don't read this post.**
Okay I'm going to admit that the first time I heard One Time by Justin Bieber I thought it was a girl and yes I couldn't stand him. But the more I listen to him the more I like him and now I'm pretty much like every other obsessed girl that adores him! His new album My Worlds is basically one word: amazing....especially his song Pray. So shout out to JAAAYBEEE for putting out another great album!

UPDATEEEEE-Sorry!?!?!
OMG OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG
I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Sorry that I haven't been posting or anything! Life has just been super busy and I've been running errands and doing homework and working and blah blah blah and I just haven't been able to update or anything! This whole forgetting thing needs to stop....RIGHT NOW!!! Haha anyway so I'm gonnna update ones every week because I really just can't do it everyday, I'm a junior in high school and the amount of homework I get is enough to keep me busy all night so I can't keep up with this blog. So I'm thinking I'll update on Saturdays but I'm not sure yet...

Make-Up?
Hello!
I have been getting e-mails asking me what type of make up products I use and where I buy them. In my Save/Splurge blog I mentioned that I went and splurged at Sephora and after that people wanted to know what I use. So here it goes! OHHH...the reason I don't use MAC is because I haven't had the chance to try it out, so just because I don't use it doesn't mean it sucks. For everything I use I'm going to add a link to it for easy access.
Foundation: I used to use Bare Escentuals foundation and its called bareMinerals, it costs about $25. I liked it and the only reason I stopped using it is because I felt like I got no coverage and you could still see red spots and acne. Bare Escentuals also has a matte foundation ($28). I haven't tried it out so I can't "review" it. When I did use Bare Escentuals I bought the mini gift set (they don't have it anymore) and it came with bronzer and the mineral vail thing. I liked the bronzer but not the mineral vail...made my face look too pale.
So now I use MAKE UP FOR EVER brand and the HD Invisible Cover Foundation in 120 is the exact one I use. Let me just say that I LOVE IT. I know that it's pricey. $40 for foundation is not exactly what I call a cheap buy but this gives me the best coverage that I am willing to spend that much on it. Call me crazy but i think I may be in love!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hahaha.
OH I use the Bare Escentuals bronzer that came in my gift set and I just apply it in a E and a 3 on my face..if you don't know what that means then I'm not sure how to explain it.
For eye shadow I use Too Faced Natural Eye Neutral Eye Shadow Collection it costs $35 at Sephora and comes with 9 shades, 3 cards showing how to apply it and a little brush. All but the day palette are a bit sparkly but they are really pigmented and look amazing on everyone.
PRIMER: Primer is used so your makeup doesn't smear off and so it sits on your face. I like Bare Escentuals bareVitamins Prime Time Eyelid Primer and it is only $16 and a good steal. I've gone through about 3 off these tubes and they work great. My eye shadow stays on all day and I really like that!
Mascara: I use Maybelline Colossal Volum' Express® Mascara. It's pretty great, and cheap I think it was something like $8 or maybe $10. I'm not quite sure how much but it was very cheap.
Eyeliner: I use Covergirl Perfect Point Plus Eyeliner in black onyx. I've used this forever and it is easy to put on and easy to use and probably my favorite eyeliner in the world. I think it;s also somewhere around $10.
Oh and I almost forgot for brushes I just use the Sephora brand ones...they're kinda pricey but I like them so yeahhhh...

Save or Splurge?!?!?
I like designer clothes. We all do. But they cost an arm and a leg. Not cool designers. So what should we splurge on and what should we not?
**NOTE: I work my butt of just to but all of my clothes (yes my parents buy it sometimes but normally I have to pay)
Jeans/pants- SPLURGE. I LOVE my designer jeans. I feel like they are better quality and fit better on you (me in this case). However my jeans range from American Eagle to Abercrombie and Fitch to Lucky Brand Jeans to 7 for All Mankind to True Religion and Rock and Republic. So I have some regular brand jeans and some high end stuff.
Tops- SAVE. Unlike jeans which never go out of style, shirts and tops are always changing and there is no point in spending 100s and 100s of dollars on one shirt and then a week later it isn't "in" anymore.
Makeup- SPLURGE. I used to buy drugstore makeup and by drugstore I mean Covergirl and Maybelline and so one. Actually I bought my makeup from there until just a few weeks ago when I went into Sephora and bought some new stuff for school. I think when it comes to your face you should spend some money just because you don't want to break out or have any irritations or other skin problems. Don't buy anything that you can't afford just because somebody else has it. If you can't pay $35 for foundation then please don't and save your money for something else.
Jewelry- SAVE/SPLURGE. Whyy both? I think everyone should have one or two nice pieces of jewelry for special occasions but for everyday use you should definitely save. Forever 21 has some good pieces as well as Macy's, Von Maur, and the BP (teenager section not the gas company!!) at Nordstrom's! Save on hair pieces too.
Shoes-EHH really depends on how you feel about spending money on shoes. I personally like good quality shoes like Nine West, Steve Madden, Puma, etc... and these all run around 45 and higher.
Lingerie-Like shoes spend as much as you feel comfortable spending. I buy all my underwear and bras at Victoria's Secret and nowhere else just because I am familiar with the company and it's located everywhere and they have good semi-annual sales!
Athletic Wear- I play tennis so I buy Nike and Addidas but if you aren't a competitive athlete then you can just splurge on one or two good pair of sneakers and be fine with that.

Back to School
Hey everyone!
So Tuesday was the first day of school and I must say that I am exhausted! I wish it was Friday already! Hahhh! I know that many of you start school either this week or next or sometime in the next few weeks so I just wanted to give some ideas for back to school tips.
CLOTHES! If you live somewhere HOT like I do at the moment you want to wear shorts and a loose top. I wore American Eagle shorts and a top I got at Nordstrom's and sandals. I would suggest doing the same but based more on your own style.
MAKEUP! DO NOT CAKE ON FOUNDATION!! Trust me, NOBODY likes seeing orange faces and then it sweats off and looks bad! Put on just enough to cover and flaws and thats it! You don't need much. I would even suggest going on Youtube and searching juicystar07 and watching a few of her videos, I adore them and they are helpful.
BACKPACK OR PURSE? I use a backpack, I have the North Face Jester style in black and I have to admit that it's alright. I bought mine at Dick's Sporting Goods and it cost about $55 and in my location they gave you a $10 iTunes gift card if you spend over $49 on a backpack...which I did. I have the black one. I carry a lot of stuff so it's a bit small, I might take it back and buy a different one thats bigger. My school is divided evenly on backpacks and bags, neither dominate so its like..yeah. Hah! Freshman year of high school I carried around a Hollister Co. bag and I really liked it but my only problem was that it hurt my shoulders and I had to constantly change shoulders. So if you can't decide on which I would say try both a backpack and a bag and see which you like more.

Hey Everyone!
Ali here. I just wanted to welcome everyone to the official Ali Parker Blog and give you a little background info! I'm Ali. I'm 16, going to be a junior in high school (almost done!!!!!). I have one annoying younger sister and 2 pets, a dog and a cat. I live with my parents but can't wait until I leave for college and get my own apartment! If you have any questions about me or anything feel free to email me at ali.parker16@gmail.com which is the email I created just for this blog and yeahhh....hah!! I'm a pretty random person, you'll notice later on.
Sooo the reason I started this blog is because when I started high school and back when I was in middle school, I was completely lost, I didn't know what was in style and how to talk to boys that I liked and how to deal with friends who cause drama and problems and I didn't really have a place where I could go and get help on my specific situation and I've been wanting to start a website where girls can come and ask me or my friends for advice and help with their problems. (WOW long sentence).
Anyway, I wanted this post to be pretty serious but as this goes on I'll add jokes and the whole whatever its called, Ahh I don't know! ALSO....if you want me to give you advice or anything just email me but I think every week or something I will sorta publish some of the stuff but I will keep you anonymous so don't worry!! You know in magazines they'll have names that would match the story like BrokenHeartedGirl or PartyProblem or you get the point but I'll most likely do that but if you don't want me to put your question up here just go ahead and say so.
